Hotel Alpenruh - Murren

We were charmed by the cozy atmosphere and really good hospitality, especially from Ferdinand, who made our stay feel special. The amazing mountain views from our room's balcony were a highlight of our trip.

I greatly enjoyed its super-friendly and incredibly kind employees.

The superior double room was well-kept and had a balcony and bedside cubbies. The hotel served muesli, cereal, yoghourt, fruit, and eggs for breakfast. The location was great for Murren, adjacent to Murren, Piz Gloria where a James Bond movie was filmed and the slopes. Dined at Spielbodenalp, it was not too far away from the venue...

due to cancellations of some of the rooms, the staff upgraded us to a mountain view room on the top floor and the view was spectacular. delicious breakfast with a gorgeous view of the alps, Friendly & Helpful staff, located very close to cable cars.

Fine hotel, fine views, with a great restaurant serving delicious breakfast and easy access to the cable car for exploring the area.

Marvellous and gorgeous location to attractions like Murren - Birg, that was close to the hotel. My room was nicely refurbished, had smoke detectors for safety measures.

The breakfasts were bountiful!

The rooms were extremely pleasant and brand-new with free Wi-Fi. Had all necessary amenities, a balcony and bedstands:)))

Staying at Hotel Alpenruh was an absolute delight! The room was spacious, with a cozy corner where I could relax with a fine view of the mountains. The staff were friendly and cute. Plus, the restaurant served a delicious dinner that we enjoyed al fresco on the terrace with lovely views all around.

Breakfast options could be improved.

Staff was friendly and helpful about the trails in the area. The location was beautiful! The mountain view from our room was breath- taking. The location was excellent. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Wifi cannot connect from room, only in lobby or lower floor.

Staying at Alpenruh was a positive experience overall. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and a amazing view of the mountains from the balcony. The staff, especially Ferdinand, were friendly, ensuring all my business needs were met promptly. The restaurant served a good dinner with a pleasant atmosphere.

Beautiful view of the mountains, but you need to get a room on the 3rd or 4th floor. The rooms on the 1st and 2nd are too low and are levle with the walking paths.resteraunt is great, both lunch and dinner. The breakfast provided was good.

The cozy ambiance of Hotel Alpenruh. Decorated in classic Swiss chalet style, the hotel was easily accessible for seniors, and the views from my room's balcony were amazing, with the majestic mountains.

Breakfast options could be more varied for seniors.

Idyllic mountain side location, unexpectedly fabulous gourmet restaurant, great place for walks in the countryside or serious hikes in the mountains.

The location almost right next to the cable car. The cleanliness and condition of the hotel. The Shilthorn breakfast in place of the hotel's. Very good food, especially breakfast. The view from our balcony, helpfullness of the staff.
